Providing the safest and best sterilization standards are our top concern

With all the buzz in the media; we wanted to share our sterilization standards we practice for all of our patients. Patient safety is our number one concern. Here at Dr. Gerald Bittner's office we pride ourselves on using state of the art sterilization equipment and practices. We have policies and procedures in place for every patient's safety. We use disposables as much as possible to ensure sterility. We do a complete disinfection; wiping everything down before we set up for the next patient. All of our instruments are put in cassettes and are disinfected. After that they are wrapped and sterilized. Then the cleaned instruments are opened up chair side and the patients can see the sterilized packs.

If patients have concerns or questions about how the instruments are actually sterilized at our office, Dr. Bittner Jr. will bring them back to the sterilization area and do a demonstration and show them how it works. We are proud of this area. It is state of the art.
